Senior Producer – Super Rare Games

Position Overview

As a Senior Producer you will… oversee the development and production of PC & multi-console independent game titles. You will lead and coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure timely and high-quality delivery of each project This role provides an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual who thrives in a collaborative and dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire production cycle from signing to release for PC & multi-console independent video game titles
  • Have full production and budget responsibility for the games you are assigned
  • Work closely with the Development Team to create and then execute timelines and milestones for each project
  • Collaborate with the Development Team to define project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Liaise with platform-holders (Nintendo, PlayStation, etc) and partners for submission and delivery of projects
  • Regularly present and report on your activities creating detailed project plans 
  • Lead and motivate interdisciplinary teams (Marketing, QA, etc.) ensuring a  cohesive and productive work environment
  • Day-to-day team management, helping your team to remain focused and actively working on their tasks
  • Managing the team including responsibility for mentoring and learning and development 
  • Oversee the QA dept to effectively manage JIRA tasks
  • Triaging, assigning, and prioritising the team’s tasks and bugs while facilitating the team's ability to turn requirements into achievable plans
  • Project roadmapping, backlog refinement, sprint planning & reviews, retrospectives, dependency management
  • Identifying, tracking and mitigating risks to the project
  • Working with external teams including outsource vendors, licensors and publisher teams.
  • Tools: Jira, Confluence, Miro, Google/Office suite of tools or other project management, reporting and tracking tools.
  • Provide production overview and status to stakeholders and leads
  • Manage and support other producers in their career development, setting and achieving their goals and closing knowledge gaps
  • Encourage and support a positive, creative, feedback- focused culture in your teams and help identify and resolve morale or engagement issues

For this role, you'll ideally need…

  • 4+ years as a producer/project manager with experience across the full development lifecycle from concept to post-launch
  • Submissions experience across a majority of platforms e.g. Steam, Nintendo, Xbox and PlayStation,
  • You will be meticulously organised and should be able to work efficiently to tight deadlines and budgets, plus have a methodical approach to work priorities
  • You should possess excellent written and verbal skills and be commercially astute
  • And of course, be super passionate about video games and being in the industry

The position is a full-time flexible hybrid role working Tuesday - Thursday from our London office (near King’s Cross) and remotely Monday & Friday.  We are not currently looking for fully remote candidates (sorry!)

The Experienced QA will report to Jason – our Head of Serious Stuff and work closely with the Development team, Production department, and Game developers. The role offers the opportunity to grow professionally within the company and contribute to smooth production of some exciting Indie titles.
