Favourite Game(s): Advance Wars + Undertale + Anything Arkane Studios have touched

Random Fact: Has an SRG tattoo, its not a good one
Stu Townsend
Stu has been a Creative in London for over 30 years, from working in Advertising, to Branding Agencies to the Digital Arena, it’s no wonder with all that experience why Stu is our Head of Colours.

Pretty much everything to do with design at SRG has had his involvement and direction, from our logo, to our website to all the game artwork; Inlay Sheets, Trading Cards, Manuals and stickers - you name it, Stu’s created it!

Favourite Game: Mutant Mudds Collection

Random fact: Is a bit of House DJ in his spare time and loves his vinyl, if he’s not on his Switch you’ll always find him behind his Technics 1200’s!
Verity Murphy
In 2014, after 10 years in a practice specialising as an accountant, Verity moved into the world of video games, starting off as part of the Curve Digital team and moving to leading porting house Warp Digital as financial controller.

Verity loves her work for many reasons. For one it combines a head for numbers with the fun of video games. There is never a dull moment as Head of Finance at Super Rare Games. She also often gets labelled as being an “accountant” but truly believes what she does is so much more....it is highly rewarding to be able to add value to a business and make a difference, be appreciated for what you do and do it all as part of a genuine and committed team.

Favourite Game: Sega Mega drive playing the classics...Sonic, California Games, Alex Kidd to name a few

Random fact: Has an identical twin
Lindsey Reed
Lindsey has helped people have fun pretty much all her working life – developing and launching new products for companies like Budweiser, Coca-Cola, and Cadbury. From ‘session testing’ new beers to arranging tasting sessions for new chocolate bars, her job has been to find out what people are happy with. And then make it even better.

As Head of Customer Happiness, she’s now putting all that experience into ensuring that everything SRG does delivers a great customer experience. If anything is not quite right with your orders, she manages the ‘help@SRG’ to ensure it all gets sorted as quickly as possible. All so that you can spend more time playing and collecting some of the best indie games around.

Favourite Game: Missile Command on the Atari console or Crash Bandicoot.

Random fact: Everyone refuses to play her at Tekken, because she wins 90%+ the time!
Ryan Brown
Ryan has always worked in video games, whether it's writing for The Mirror and various outlets as a games journalist, running all things PR at Numskull, talking about hot gaming topics on BBC Radio, or even nominating winners on the BAFTA Games 2020 panel.

As the Head of Saying Stuff at Super Rare, chances are you're reading Ryan's words on our newsletters and social media posts, and perhaps you'll even see his squishy face on our YouTube channel. Ryan speaks with journalists and content creators to help get even more collectors on board the Super Rare Train (not a real train, sadly).

Favourite Game: NieR:Automata, but his favourite Super Rare game is Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime

Random Fact: He unwraps all of his games (shhhh!)
Helen Jones
Helen has worked in a variety of areas including music, books & textiles and has stories to tell about all of them!
She has a varied role at SRG, from working with Lindsey on the help desk to managing the office. She genuinely believes that the SRG staff and customers are the best people ever.
Helen is always looking for a challenge – in 2020 she learnt how to complete the Rubik’s cube (with help from George) and in 2021 is learning German.

Favourite Game: Geoguessr & anything involving Trivia.

Random Fact: Has a photographic memory for birthdays.
Tom King
Tom originally joined the industry as a Game Designer with Supermassive Games where he worked on level design, cinematics & AI. He later transitioned into production with Supermassive before joining the team here at SRG.

As Head of Making Things Happen, he works with all the talented developers on SECRET STUFF. His main role is managing the flow of communication to make sure everyone is happy and everything's on track!

Favourite Game: God of War (2019) / Assassin's Creed 2

Random Fact: He can catch grapes in his mouth, thrown from any distance…
Tracy Bradbery
After many years working in sponsorship and event marketing in Formula 1 and Golf, Tracy found herself joining Super Rare Games back when it started in George’s kitchen.

Tracy has a medley of roles at SRG. She supports Verity on finance and purchasing the best packaging to ensure your games arrive in mint condition, she is our guru on wrapping the games (no one can do it faster!) and will often be found in our warehouse maneuvering pallets of games into place, that is, if she’s not managing the shipment of our customer’s orders. As you can tell, Tracy loves being busy!

Favourite Game: Pac-Man

Random Fact: Is Robbie Williams’ biggest fan
Tom Buchanan
Tom previously worked in accounts for 3 years before joining the SRG team in early 2021.

Tom's Love for video games started extremely early continuing onto today!

As Head of Smooth Production Tom is the man who makes sure that all the great games we release get made on time and are ready to ship to the fans all across the world.

Favourite Game:Modern Warfare 2, Dungeon Keeper 2

Random Fact: Started playing Halo 2 on the Xbox at the age of 4
Anni Valkama
Born and raised in Finland, Anni moved to the UK in 2016. Prior to joining Super Rare, she worked in book publishing where she helped to oversee the marketing activities across UK, Europe, and ANZ. Anni is passionate about accessibility and inclusivity in the industry and is the current head of a project seeking to help industry newcomers.

As the Head of Saying Stuff, Anni works together with Ryan on all things newsletters, social media, and influencer outreach to make sure you get the latest on all our great releases. Where there's hype to be created, Anni's there to create it! She's also here to remind Ryan of work-life balance (usually to no avail).

Favourite Game: Final Fantasy X, which she could probably narrate to you from start to finish in great detail

Random Fact: She can speak six languages (can you guess which?)
Lauren Middleton
Lauren started working in games as a Customer Support Agent for Fusebox Games, moving onto QA and then Audio Manager, giving her a chance to see a few different sides of making a game, from answering questions and testing, to composing music for Love Island: The Mobile Game. She wanted to carry on that trend so she joined the team at SRG!

As Head of Focus, she works alongside Tom to help keep the ball rolling, keep everyone in the loop and keep releasing awesome games.

Favourite Game: Tomb Raider Collection / Uncharted Collection / Hellblade (can’t choose just one!)

Random Fact: Espresso Martinis make her sneeze
