I was initially worried that this indie was overhyped and also that my inexperience with Bullet-Hell games would hinder my play experience.
I was genuinely surprised with how addicted I got to this game. Upgrades and discovery were well-paced and were a great carrot-on-a-stick. The gameplay itself was a great factor in keeping me engaged. The game feels fluid and intuitive and is just plain fun.
I was sometimes frustrated with the lack of direction. I would not know what to do next or how to get to an area for extended periods of time. However the addictive gameplay kept me coming back long enoigh to see it all through. Very fun.
