Management Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified)

Location: Currently Hybrid – 3 days in our London office (King’s Cross), 2 days remote

Schedule: Full-time preferred | Part-time / 4-day week considered

Salary Range £40,000 - £45,000 p.a.

Position Overview

As we rapidly expand, we’re excited to bring in a newly or nearly qualified Management Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) to join our passionate and fast-growing team.

What you’ll Do

  • Take full ownership of bookkeeping and monthly management accounts reporting, including revenue billing, bank imports, full review of transactions plus TB reconciliations of stock, prepayments, accruals, intercompany and more.

  • Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring smooth supplier operations and collaborating closely with the AP assistant providing support where needed, plus managing regular payment cycles and related queries.

  • Maintain and update budget trackers across multiple titles and departments, perform cost accounting tasks, and prepare variance analysis with key financial insights for senior management.

  • Analyse monthly sales reports and ensure accurate import of data, producing detailed monthly royalty statements based on performance.

  • Handle UK and EU VAT reporting, including preparing and reconciling quarterly UK VAT and monthly EU VAT returns within a timely manner.

  • Contribute to finance projects and process improvements, proactively identifying issues and driving efficiencies across systems and workflows.

What We’re Looking For

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or nearly qualified), with 3–5 years’ experience

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with advanced Excel proficiency.

  • Detail-oriented and highly organised, with the ability to manage tasks independently.

  • Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Proactive and positive approach, thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

  • Able to balance precision with flexibility, adapting quickly to evolving priorities and challenges.

Bonus Skills (Not Essential but Great to Have)

  • Background in the video games industry

  • Experience using Xero

  • Familiarity with multi-currency and international finance

The Managment Accountant will report to Verity – Finance Director and work closely with the Marketing team, Creative department, and Game developers. The role offers the opportunity to grow professionally within the company and contribute to the success of our exciting and innovative video games.
