Super Rare Games...

...started around our family kitchen table.

That table was where the idea took shape, the company was formed, social handles were claimed, and our earliest marketing plans were made. Before long, it also became our first shipping station.

The idea grew out of a love of indie games, collecting, and owning something tangible, shaped by years of trading card games like Yu-Gi-Oh! that taught me the value of rarity and presentation. It always felt wrong that so many great indie games existed only digitally and were in danger of disappearing.

From the start, this was a team effort.

My parents backed the idea from day one. My dad, with experience in the games industry, offered valuable advice, and he convinced my mum to turn the dining room into a temporary warehouse.

As Super Rare took form, Verity joined with her finance expertise, Stu brought creative leadership from print and web design, and later Lindsey came on board to bring structure to customer service and shipping. Each played a vital role in turning a small idea into a real business

On 20 February 2018, we launched Super Rare Games with Human Fall Flat.

Equal parts nerve and excitement turned into relief when over 400 orders arrived in a single day. That was the moment I knew the business would work.

Today, Super Rare Games has a team of 25 based at our London HQ. The kitchen table is gone, but the obsession with indie games, physical collecting, and proper customer care remains.
