Great

great service and delivery

I was looking for an old school JRPG, like what I grew up with in the 90's, and I came across this one. When I discovered Super Rare had physical copies, I jumped straight on it, and I'm glad I did.

It's not perfect, but it's damn good. It's got: a wonderful soundtrack, beautiful 2D SNES style graphics, proper turn based combat, accessibility options so you can play it the way you want (standard difficulty is firm but fair), an interesting levelling system, equally interesting weapon/armour upgrade system, a story I'm still trying to figure out and that's a good thing, plays flawlessly on Switch too.

Needless to say, it's as close as you can get the classics, it's well worth your time and money. Very grateful for Super Rare giving us physical editions, because physical still cannot be defeated.

No complaints here! Great company, great website!

I've only played about an hour's worth of my downloaded "copy", but have fallen instantly in love and will be picking it back up soon enough. As for this Super Rare Games copy I bought, as a collector, I do not intend to open it. I am sure, however, that its contents, cartridge, manual, etc. are pristine and of high production value. The sealed game as a whole looks stunning with its own clear plastic seal, bright red spine with that stark white lettering for the title, and true to traditional game case form, cover art on the front, gorgeous, bold and sleek, clear as day screenshots on the back, and an elegant looking, well-written description of the game.

And ALL of this demands your attention as you pass by my display. There are also some very cool looking inserts included in the back between the seal and the game case.

I have already requested the Chained Echoes deluxe edition from my sister for Christmas :) Super Rare Games is the real deal, and as a collector, I don't personally consider their products investments, but I do see this company becoming the gold standard for rare physical video games in the future, and if I'm right, then their products can only rise in value over time!
